Taos to Albuquerque via Santa Fe

On my way back to Albequerque for a meeting tomorrow morning I stopped off in Santa Fe and decided to have a beer and make this post.

I took this picture of my hotel before I left.

They're kind of hazy, but I tried to get a shot of the gorge and the mountains as you leave (or arrive in) Taos.

A cool cemetery on the road to Santa Fe. You can't see them in picture as posted, but there are a number of crosses planted all akimbo at the top of the rock

Some local color in Santa Fe.

Hard at work again.

Hard at work in Taos

I drove out to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge today. It's 800 feet to the bottom. Sort of takes your breath away.

A friendly disk golf competition

We've had a pretty busy day today. We started out by getting up early -- mom skillfully collected her lazy pig award at 9:30. We were done with our breakfast coffee by at least 11:00. Then to the business part of the day: Diskgolf!

Here's a picture of Dad demonstrating his perfect form.

Mom, not to be outdone, let this beauty fly.

And Kelly must have done something good here. She seems quite pleased with herself.

But this hole was a tough one with a long riverside throw. In the photo, Kelly is just now realizing that her disk is headed for the water. Maybe you can read her lips --"UhOh."

No worry though, it landed on the edge of the water. Finding it was no problem for Mom and her trusty frisbee sniffing mutt. Nice work team.

Here's a couple more shots for you to admire our form.

I win!

The Olden Days with Little Ben

Here's a cute little video I have of Ben.

It was taken a while ago. I bet there are some more recent ones out there....
Hi Cheeselogs,

We are so up-to-date! All I need to operate this blog is Kelly on the phone. That way I can talk to her and blog her at the same time! Wait to see what we post next. . .
