A Boy & His Snail

The boy loves his snail....

SFO Mother's Day....

Thought we'd put up some photos from mother's day.  A nice day in Marin.  A happy mother.  A rough-&-tumble boy complete with shiner.....turns out the overhead swinging of a telephone by the cord is not completely hazard-free.

Viva Las Vegas

Here are some pix of the from the Stoner-Stevens-Straw Summit. We had a great time with lots of laughs and story telling and just the right amount of reflection. It was a strangely comfortable visit almost immediately and as the weekend progressed, we found that we had a lot of quirky commonalities. I can't wait to get Wendy and Melinda up to Portland and show them off.

This is Wendy (my mom) by the pool,

and Melinda (my sister) showing off her million dollar smile.

Syd and Lu couldn't get enough of the pool or Melinda. Anyone surprised?

I call this one "Nevermind."

Wendy brilliantly hauled out a bunch of old photos and we spent a lot of time picture gazing. It's a curious thing to see and hear about people I'm actually related to. Not at all sure what I'm talking about here, but I look pretty intent on getting my point across whatever it is.

Sunday AM, we went to the aquarium at Mandalay Bay Hotel. Here's a sweet one of "Nana" and the girls learning all about man-eating sharks.

Just like old times...

Hi everyone! I love the blog so far, great entries. Ben, man, just wait until you can post your own blogs, that'll be the day! Anyway, just thought I would post some pictures from last weekend. We went camping and climbing at Reimers Ranch, outside of Austin, with Hernan, Valeria and Veronika. Annmarie - how was your birthday?
