In San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, alligator hunting entails detailed knowledge of the finer points of "stick" management.

Wind sprints are also an essential part of the training for an accompished San Francisco alligator hunter. However, probably this is best done without holding on to that trusty stick.

Oddly enough, Alice & Ben caught this smaller San Franciscan Alligator roaming through our apartment.  Not much compared to Texas-sized gators, but fearsome nonetheless.....

Wrestling Gators

Going with the wildlife trend...this weekend we braved the heat and went out for another look at the alligators... here are some pictures from our walk. We were more brave this time and walked by the on-trail alligator with little fear :) But we saw it display some ferocity by opening its mouth wide. We also saw the cutest little baby ducks!
