Greetings! I thought I would put up a short blog about Hurricane Ike. It happened to come to Houston the same day Kelly's sister got married in St. Louis:
Tana however, was a total storm dog and weathered it through like a champ (reportedly) at a friends house here in Houston:
Our flight back to Houston was canceled so we ended up driving back with Kelly's parents! We finally returned on Monday evening to a dark, but pretty much intact, house. We had no power for 10 days, it was turned back on for us on Monday evening. We celebrated by going out and getting some ice cream to put in the freezer (and turning on the A/C). We also had a ton of branches down (as did the rest of Houston) but we didn't lose any of our big trees. I thought I would put up a few picts of the house just post Ike.
